Spring in Kashmir runs from late March through May and the valley in those two months is a different place from every other season. The Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden on the Zabarwan slopes above Dal Lake opens in late March — over a million bulbs across seven terraces in colour blocks that run from red through yellow to purple. The Mughal Gardens at Nishat and Shalimar reach their peak flowering in the same window. Pahalgam in April carries new green on both valley walls and the Baisaran meadow above the town loses its last snow. Yusmarg in May has the West Kashmir wildflower meadow in its early bloom. Bon Voyagers handles the pickup from Srinagar Airport and covers four nights with a private Innova, Xylo or Scorpio class vehicle throughout. Night 1 is in Srinagar with the Tulip Garden visit on Day 2 morning. Night 2 is at Pahalgam for the Lidder Valley spring green. Night 3 is back in Srinagar after the Pahalgam day. Night 4 is at Yusmarg for the West Kashmir meadow in bloom before the Day 5 airport drop.
